Vale
Before Panorama
Location - Bathurst, NSW
Circuit Length = 6.75M/10.8KM

Vale lies dormant alongside the World famous Mount Panorama Circuit.

Vale as it is today. I've chosen to illustrate the original Anti-Clockwise Configuration.

At the Old Bathurst Saleyards a map of the circuit with a short history.
Vale Road. This small strip of the circuit was bitumen, the rest gravel.
Suicide Bend. 90MPH on a bike, on gravel. Aptly named.
Further down the 2 mile long straight.
We head into the tree's.
Approaching the left that takes us to.
Kable's Bridge.
It's here the modern road deviates from the original layout.
Further along we pick up the gravel road on the left to take us back onto the Original Layout.

Note : If you're driving a lap it's extremely easy to miss this road as it's an extremely tight hairpin.
The steep stretch up to Mount Tamar is much as it was.
A very undulating section as can be seen. Photo's don't really capture it.
Best to take note of the sign.
Because this is right over the rise.
Out of the tight right a short straight to a similar left.
Mount Tamar.
Tamar Straight.
Some more undulation further on to keep you busy.
Back on the black stuff.
The town of Bathurst lies straight ahead.
Approaching Wrights Corner.
Wrights Corner.
The short straight back to the Saleyards.
Palmers Bridge.
Mount Panorama in the distance.
Approaching the Yards to complete a lap of Vale.
